Frequently asked questions about Absentra
Everything about the product, the demo, non-medical absence registration, pilots and contact — organized by topic.
Product
Absentra is a Dutch B2B application for administrative absence registration. Absence notifications, administrative follow-up and insight come together in one clear place, using only the non-medical data needed for that purpose.
Absentra is built for employers, HR professionals and team leads who want to register and follow up absence in a clear, organized way. The Netherlands is currently the primary supported market.
The current product phase includes absence registration, administrative follow-up, a dashboard with overview, and roles and permissions. Features that are still in development are only presented once they are available.
Who it's for
The first product phase focuses primarily on organizations with roughly 50 to 200 employees. That is a focus, not a hard limit: smaller and larger organizations are welcome to explore the demo and discuss their needs with us.
We are first researching industry, logistics, construction, healthcare, cleaning and facility services, and professional services. These sectors involve multiple teams, team leads and administrative handovers. They are research sectors, not customer references.
Absentra is not a good fit when a medical record is required, when occupational physicians need to record diagnoses, when a full payroll administration is sought, when medical reintegration guidance must be part of the software, or when the full functionality of a complete ERP or HR platform is required.
Data and privacy
Data such as the employee involved, the start and end date of a notification, the administrative status, the department or team, and outstanding administrative actions. This describes the product scope, not a complete legal data list.
Diagnoses, medical complaints, treatments, medical notes and causes of illness do not belong in Absentra. The application deliberately contains no fields for them.
No. Absentra is intended for administrative, non-medical absence registration. Medical information does not belong in an employer's registration.
Demo
The interactive demo is a separate environment with a demo organization. You can explore how registration, follow-up and the dashboard come together. The demo opens in a new tab and is not a production environment.
No. All people, organizations and events in the demo are fictitious. Do not enter real employee data or individual absence cases.
Pilot and pricing
Choose 'Discuss a pilot' in the contact form. In an introductory call we agree on the scope, duration and conditions of a pilot in advance.
Absentra is in a pilot phase. We do not publish amounts that have not been validated; pricing for a pilot is agreed transparently and in advance.
Access and roles
Users should only get access to the data and features that match their role and responsibility. A team lead, for example, only sees information about their own team, as far as the configured permissions allow.
Integrations
None yet. All integrations on the integrations page — such as HR and payroll packages, single sign-on and calendars — have the status 'Being researched'. We show the status per integration transparently and present nothing as available before it has been validated.
Choose 'Integration request' in the contact form and mention the product name of the system you would like to connect in the 'Current system' field. Do not share exports, screenshots or employee data.
Not yet. We are researching single sign-on via Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace as part of the integration research.
We deliberately do not name release dates. An integration first goes through needs research, a privacy and security assessment and a technical pilot. The current status is always shown on the integrations page.
Partners
Not yet. Absentra is exploring collaborations with payroll administrators, accountants, HR consultants and occupational health services. There are deliberately no commissions, reseller contracts or other formal partner terms yet.
Absentra only supports the administrative employer side of absence. Medical information stays with the authorized occupational health service or physician; Absentra is not a medical record. That separation is exactly what makes coordination on the administrative process possible.
Resources
The resources section contains freely accessible background information, such as the checklist for careful administrative absence registration. No email address or registration is needed to read the content.
No. The resources section offers general product and process information and is not legal, medical or occupational health advice. Consult your own adviser for legal questions.
Contact
Use the contact form to request a demo, discuss a pilot, share product feedback, report an integration need or explore a partnership. Do not share names of employees on sick leave, diagnoses, complaints, treatments, medical notes or causes of illness.
